When a client of JB & Associates requested a desire to link all 5 of their hotel's Property Management Software (PMS) databases, JB sought out the best PMS application which met their specific needs. Unfortunately, the software vendor, Citadel Hospitality, had never had a client successfully create a wide area network (WAN) utilizing their Brilliant PMS software. JB and his technicians reviewed the application and designed a WAN that would "technically" support the Brilliant software. Then, we setup a beta test in our offices utilizing our own routers, hubs, and servers to simulate the Internet within our own network. And YES, the WAN was successful. Now we had to prove it to the nay sayers. This we did with an onsite demo and both the Citadel and client management teams were impressed. Now, the hotel group has linked all 5 properties utilizing their low cost cable-modem broadband Internet connections allowing their front desk employees easy access to each hotel's PMS systems in order to better serve their guests needs. Reservations and room availability at each location is available to all front desk clerks with the click of a mouse. In addition, hotel management can view from their remote desktops each property’s reservations, Guest Lists, room revenue, and all vital information and reports. Moreover, this WAN created by JB & Associates allows the hotel group to have one reservations center for all 5 hotels, thereby reducing costs, eliminating overlapping tasks, improving employee productivity, and most importantly, improving customer service. One other Miami Beach hotel group has now purchased the Citadel Brilliant software and connected their two hotels together over a WAN of their own. Don't say it can't be done to JB and his technicians! We will find a way to make your systems function reliably and in the manner by which you can improve your bottom line through the utilization of today's advanced technology tools.
